Rephrase the sentences using the words in the brackets1. Remember to bring your references and a list of contacts (make sure to).

SITUATION 1: RAISE IN SALARY

Person A: You want a raise (increase in salary) in your job and need advice on how to approach your boss. Ask your friend questions on the following points:

-what you should wear -when to meet your boss-how to convince your boss you deserve a raise-how much money is fair to ask in the increase-what to say if your boss says no

Person B: Your friend wants a raise in his/her job. Give him advice about how to approach his/her boss about the points listed above.

Person A: You are having problems with a co-worker. You and him are working on a project together, but he has not been taking responsibility for his part of the job. You have tried to communicate with him by phone and emails, but he never returns your messages. When you went to his office, he wasn’t there. Talk to your boss about what to do, asking questions on the following points:-tell your boss the problem-explain what you have done so far to resolve the situation-ask for help and suggestions from your boss

Person B: You are the manager of the accounting team and recently you have given a data analysis project to two accountants. One of the accountants will come to see you because he/she is having problems with his colleague. Listen and give advice to resolve the situation.
