BMW stands for :Bavarian Motor Works.

2: THE LOGO:

What does the logo symbolize ???

Most of the part of the logo are the blue & white sectors which are derived from the Bavarian flag.Another meaning you may find that.

The logo shows a propeller in motion with the blue part representing the sky.This is being the companys role of building aircraft engines for the German military during World War II.

3: THE FACE:

In 1933 and 1934 BMW originated a middle sized saloon known as the BMW 303. It was the first BMW to use the Kidney grill which today is the hallmark of the companys models.
