INTRODUCTION Robert Fishko completed his formal training in arts

management at New York University and worked as a theatrical producer and manager before becoming the director of Forum Gallery. Pursuant to his deep interest in the arts, Robert Fishko is also a staunch supporter of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC. The Smithsonian is currently holding exhibits at its newly renovated branch, the Renwick Gallery.

The Renwick Gallery had been closed for the past two years due to a major renovation. Now recognized as the first building in America dedicated to becoming an art museum, the gallery is celebrating its reopening with a groundbreaking exhibit named "WONDER."

SMITHSONIAN AMERICAN ART MUSEUM The exhibit is headlined by nine diverse contemporary

artists – namely Gabriel Dawe, Jennifer Angus, John Grade, Chakaia Booker, Leo Villareal, Maya Lin, Tara Donovan, Patrick Dougherty, and Janet Echelman. Each artist will be featured in a different gallery within the building to display their artwork; the exhibit is being led by expert curator Nicholas R. Bell.

The exhibits on the first floor will run through July 10, 2016, while the artwork on the second floor will only be on display until May 8, 2016.
