Famous quotes from a famous man

•"I hope that the person who visits my exhibitions, and the person who comes out, are not quite the same"

•"I believe that the average person can help a lot, not by giving material goods but by participating, by being part of the discussion, by being truly concerned about what is going on in the world."

“The picture is not made by the photographer, the picture is more good or less good in function of the relationship that you have with the people you photograph.”

“We can take a picture that communicates, one where we can see the problems and the people from around the world. We show the people of Bangladesh to others so they can understand them. I have tried to bring about better communication between people. I believe that humanitarian photography is like economics. Economy is a kind of sociology, as is documentary photography”

This is one of my favorite photos that he took. It shows an elephant running through the mist in the jungle. To me the elephant looks like a calf.

I also like this picture a lot because it’s Santa Claus about to lift off for Christmas. Just kidding . This is a picture of a Eskimo riding through the freezing cold.
