Being a photographer and being a good photographer are entirely two different things. Since childhood, we all
love to take photos and share them with our friends and relatives. Many compact cameras these days have
huge number of mega pixels, whether it is a smart phone with high resolution camera or a popular point-and-
shoot, all the devices promise to give you the best shot possible. But no matter what you are shooting with,

A digital single-lens reflex camera also known as DSLR is a digital camera combining the optics and
mechanisms of a single- lens with digital imaging sensor, as opposed to photographic films. There are
number of factors which make DSLR Photography a thing apart in comparison to the other cameras.
The first and foremost thing is speed. In any
given situation, a DSLR camera will focus on
the subject faster than a compact digital
camera. The speed of this camera is even more
obvious in low light conditions. Another element
of speed is how long the camera takes to switch
on. With DSLR, as soon as you turn the switch,
it turns on instantly.
Therefore, there’s never a delay when you want to capture that photo of a lifetime. It also has many other
advantages like, interchangeable lenses, easy to use control system, plenty of great imaging features, HD
video shoot etc.

While some people think of a DSLR camera, they think
of an expensive, big, bulky and too professional in style
camera. While that may be true with some DSLRs that
cost higher, but there are many entry-level and mid-
level options which not only helps you to take great
pictures, but also fits in your budget, and can efficiently
be used even by the beginners.
With so many benefits intact, one could hardly afford to miss the fun and experience of using a DSLR camera.
