The colour scheme of the magazine matches the colours of Kayne’s attire. The text is around him, he is being framed by the text and the title is placed behind him to emphasize the image of him, he is the centre of attention. Medium close up shot of kanye. This allows you to focus on his facial expression which is of arrogance. This shows that he is confident and people will want to know why. Masthead: behind kanye head, this shows that he is more important than the magazine. It could also show that the magazine is confident that people will know the name of the magazine. The headlines are framing him and overlapping the masthead showing more confidence of popularity.

Very busy with the masthead in the fore ground, this could either mean one of two things; either NME have a lack in confidence or they don’t want the masthead to be lost amongst the commotion.

the main colours for NME magazine is red, black and white this contrasts with the busyness as it neutralizes it in sense and tones it down. David Grohl isn‘t quite the centre of attention as his photo is more in the background and more surrounded rather than framed by the headlines.

The image is a close up shot of David showing the full extent of his expression and the anger on his face. The large bold headline to the left of the page shows that he is either over zealous or angry about something.

Every headline is bold and each one looks like a main headline so the viewer could get lost and not know where to start on the upside however this makes the magazine look more exciting and draws people in as they will want to know more.

The title of the magazine is displayed and just like the front cover of NME it is very busy with a lot of content. If anything there is bit too much information, also the text is too small and the page appears daunting.

The image is central to the page and displays a band playing live this is all well and good but having this image so large it forces the rest of the text to be to small.

There is a lot of content which could make it good read but it that also means that it is a long read at that. Its very informal and bit of a mess but it works in chaotic way.

large advert at the bottom of the page for subscription to gain more popularity.

The page has the classic Z layout, as there is the title at the top an image in the middle and an advert at the bottom. This simple layout does counteract the complicated amount of content on the page as it does make it easier to under stand it all.

The layout is very formal, aimed at an older audience and all the articles are laid out in his shadow as if it is in his shadow to show that the man on the page is more important than anything else.

The image is large and over powers over everything and unlike the NME contents page because were as NME was busy and complicated this is formal and simplistic.

There are no adverts on there the only information is the about the articles and block colours are used. You could say it’s a bit boring as there is only the one image and no variation in the colours.

The article seems very dark and sinister probably suggesting the emotions or he personality of the person in question. It is well laid out with large clear and concise images and clear white text on a black background, this is utilized to emphasize the text and make it clearer to read. The funky 60’s style font does suggest that the genre of the article is to do with a disco music artist or maybe a rapper due to the style of attire and the dark sinister colours and imagery.

I would say this article is aimed at 15 and over as it seems made more the teenagers and beyond as it would probably include more in-depth information due to the amount of content displayed on page and a younger audience may not understand some of the aspects to the article.
