WHAT IS LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY?
• Landscape photography is a space that is photographed in the wide view and often have little to no people in this type of photography (if there are people in it, they are there to show the scale of the landscape).
• Most Landscape photography we have is of nature including beaches, green grass flatlands, mountains, active volcanos and other natural features.
• Examples by NationalGeographic
WHERE IS THIS PHOTOGRAPHY USED?
• We mainly see this kind of photography in travel, some scientific and geographic media.
• This media includes websites, books, newspapers, brochures and magazines.
LANDSCAPE IN THE PAST• Ansell Adams (1902 – 1984) was a landscape photographer taken photos of
nature national parks and other natural sites

Landscape photographer and has taken landscape photograph such as this superb example on right.
The layout of the landscape have changed little in the old day of landscape photography. The only things to changed is the quality and the fact that it is in colour.
TECHNIQUES IN LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY
These are the top tips for getting the best landscape photographs:• Natural lighting and positioning• Zoomed out to get maximum area
to shoot at• For the best landscape
photographs, use the wide angle lens.
• Use a large depth of field to get as much in focus as possible.
