Ansel Adams was an American Photographer best known for his high detailed Landscape including Yosemite National Park.Ansel was born on February 20, 1902, in San Francisco, California.His family came from Northern Ireland by early of 1700, as a young child Ansel was injured by Earthquake at 1906 and broke his nose and it's not properly set ever. Ansel Adams was the
hyperactive child he was dismissed from several school for bad behaviour.
Ansel learned piano at his early age, in 1916 following a trip to Yosemite National park, he started experimenting with photography, he learned darkroom techniques.He was not a full-time photographer at all, actually, he wanted to be a classical pianist. In 1930, he met Paul Strand and he was fascinated when viewed Paul's negative, he decided not only to dedicate whole time to photography he will also follow the master photographers.
In 1932, Ansel Adams, Edward and Brett Weston, Imogen Cunningham, Willard Van Dyke, and with some other hand full photographers they started the group F/64, they displayed their sharp focus, modernist style of photography at De Young Museum in san Francisco.
Ansel was also associated with photographer Edward Weston.Ansel will be remembered for his high detailed, beautiful contrasty black and white photographs.He explained zone system in photography.He used large format camera often and he was the master of line, shape, form and always aware of the light.
