- Only large companies have big budgets for online presence. Usually these projects are on Annual Maintenance Contracts where the initial service provider which is usually a large corporation; bids for an annual price for build and maintenance of the websites.
- It's a common business practice around the world to offer website maintenance based on per hour or per update charges usually in the range of $40 to $170 or with limits of 4-6 updates per month, depending on the pricing structure and corresponding services offered for the price.
- It's also noted that web designers who primarily offer design services offer website maintenance services as one of their services hence the charges for such services tend to be higher.
