2012 ACSA Leadership Summit Friday, November 9, 2012 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. • Featured Session Budget and Fiscal Matters for Aspiring Cabinet Leaders Understanding school finance and the district budget process isn’t just for business office types anymore. All members of a district’s leadership cabinet must have a strong proficiency when it comes to fiscal matters. The stakes are too high for cabinet members to leave these issues up to the business office. This workshop is designed to provide education leaders aspiring to district and county office cabinet positions with the basic foundation necessary to begin mastering school finance and the budget development process.

business operations issues at the State and Local levels • LEARN ADVOCATE NETWORK

Business Services Council
• Purpose • To identify and study issues relating to administrators who
work in the area of business services. • To promote membership in ACSA by school business
officials and to encourage their participation in all levels of ACSA.
• To enhance the position and skills of business officials through workshops and conferences.
• To maintain liaison with other ACSA committees, affiliated organizations, the State Department of Education, and other educational agencies.
• To serve as a quick response team.
