Location Selection

Page 17: Transport Systems Catapult webinar 2012-10-25 presentation

17 Vision & rationale

A single physical location will:• Provide attractive, well-equipped environment

• Facilitate collaboration

• Maximise access and support for companies and SMEs

• Facilitate innovation

Additional ‘pop-up’ or satellite space will:• Temporarily extend the reach

• Help build the Catapult’s network

• Provide flexible presence

• Create attractively local facilities

To build a Centre of Excellence which is globally recognised as the first place to find expertise when exploiting opportunities or managing risk in a transport systems environment
