• Missing hidden closing costs: The final sale price of the house is not the only cost of buying a house and there are many closing costs which should be taken into an account when deciding what price range he/she can afford.

• Not doing the research: Whether one is paying too much attention to the realtor and family or are feeling the pressure to make a quick buy moving into a house that has not been thoroughly vetted can be a big, expensive and regretful mistake.
