The first fruit of the partnership is announced today: the Mii by MANGO. The Mii by MANGO is a special edition of SEAT’s practical city car, and will make its official debut at the upcoming 080 Barcelona Fashion event, from 27 to 31 January. The tieup between the two Spanish companies will result in further activities that will combine SEAT’s characteristic driving enjoyment through the latest technology with MANGO’s innovative fashion design. The new SEAT Mii by MANGO stands out thanks to its attractive interior and exterior design, featuring two exterior paint options: Nude, which is unique to Mii by MANGO, and Deep Black. The car is further distinguished by specific exterior side mouldings, dark grey 15inch alloy wheels, heated electric door mirrors, and the “Mii by MANGO” lettering on the left side of the rear hatch and the Bpillar. The interior of the SEAT Mii by MANGO is highly practical, with a passenger compartment full of unique design elements, and additional equipment compared to the base model – particularly the distinctive grey accents, and the leather steering wheel and gear knob. The front and rear seats feature exclusive Alcantara upholstery with Nude trim and the lettering “Mii by MANGO” stitched onto the headrests. Furthermore, SEAT’s new model includes a practical hook to hang a handbag safely, and a mirror on the driver sun visor, as well as specifically designed floor mats, door sills and key fob. The Mii by MANGO will be available before the summer in three and fivedoor body styles, in the UK becoming the flagship model for the range. Pricing details will follow shortly. The car features a comprehensive list of equipment including ESC, ABS, front and side airbags for both driver and passenger, headthorax airbags, passenger airbag deactivation, ISOFIX anchoring points with Top Tether on both rear seats, air conditioning, the SEAT Portable System Live, hill hold control, remote controlled central locking, a 12V socket in the centre console, and front power windows, among much more. The new model created by SEAT and MANGO comes along with a tempting online competition that will reward creativity and originality.As a result, the first 1,000 units of the Mii by MANGO will be delivered with three additional accessories: an umbrella, a handbag and a further specific car accessory that will all be designed by fans who enter the innovative online competition. Any user in any part of the world can custom design the specific accessories included in the new SEAT Mii by MANGO and compete for tantalising prizes. The competition begins today and extends for the next five weeks by visiting the SEAT and MANGO Facebook pages (www.facebook.es/seat, www.facebook.com/SEAT.Official) and (www.facebook.com/mango.com), the SEAT webpages (www.seat.es and www.seat.com) and thewww.talenthouse.com webpage. Once all proposals have been received, a panel made up of SEAT and MANGO professionals will choose those that display the greatest creativity. The overall winner will receive a brand new SEAT Mii by MANGO and five finalists will be presented with a gift certificate to spend in MANGO shops.
